I was at the airfield during an event. The organizers did a great job of keeping people in a pleasant experience, while dealing with excessive heat and no shade. The design of the station makes it easy to get around to all the hangers. The Garmin KC Airshow was a great experience because of the people they working there.

No, the show is also on Sunday. Should start around 9:30AM.
Private/corporate flights land there all the time. Not really sure how it all works. There's another small airport in Olathe ks that's less than 20 miles away where private planes land all the time
