My sis, has ATT and broke her phone. So we ventured in. I hadn't planned on switching carriers, but they have a better monthly plan which gave me service at the house, whereas the other two big carriers do not. Smaller monthly bill. The customer care was outstanding. I don't mind going the extra few miles from home to revisit if I need something.
