Any day. Currently closed due to pandemic but you can still walk around the grounds. Don't know the normal hours.
Yes, the Sabbath day is a great day to visit the Grove and ponder spiritual matters.
An angel of the Lord showed him where they had been buried. They were a few miles away from his home on a hill called the Hill Cumorah. There is a beautiful visitors center there.
