Hi Kelsey. I'm in North Utica.. and need to relocate to FL. I have a VERY beautiful 1yr old Australian *pink* cockatoo with a red and yellow mohawk. With a large pink aluminum cage. They are also known as "Major Mitchell cockatoo". Check the images on Google.. they are the MOST beautiful of all cockatoo.. and the least craziest. Shakes hand and says hello. Their inventory tends to shift a lot. They don't have a consistent breeder of anything really. They get different types of birds and reptiles in. You just have to check them out. There is an Acks Aquatics in Liverpool that would be more likely to have them

Definitely a fairly high maintenance animal. They require a varied diet, ample space and general care to become friendly. Much more like a dog than a similarly sized rodent in terms of care but definitely rewarding with good care.p

Nobody in NY "sells" permits for reticulated pythons. You would need to contact the DEC and justify owning an otherwise illegal animal by showing a legitimate educational need.

Depends on the animal, but most you do not need a license to own. As Parker above said you would/typically need one to breed and sell. It is something that you can look into or just ask the guys at Ack's he's really knowledgeable.

We think Ack's is great. I'd rather work with them than trust someone who answers an ad. There are a lot of crazies out there.
