I was a pharma botiech and med tech for most of my career. Brian Marckx. I had quintuple bypass surgery about 2minths ago. Lourdes doesn’t have a cath lab but UHS does. My cardiologist is Pudusseri. Heard good things about hm but I can’t understand why. He tells me if I have any questions he will call me back. But when I call he never responds. And that’s the best thing I can say. The worst was when I called after having my heart cath and I asked if Michelle who answers the phone would send my records up to St Joes in Syracuse so Dr Lutz could read them. She said yup she would send them that day. But nope she didn’t. I called Lutz’s office 5 days later and they said they never got them. Meantime I woke up coughing up blood and went to the ER and was admitted for 3 days. Lourdes treated me very well. Their nurses and docs on the floor were awesome. But their cardiologist office has lots to figure out. Dr Dimmna seems to be a quality doc. Pudusseri isn’t IMO.

The doctors and nurses at this office are fabulous. They are people who actually care for their patients, are professionals and I would trust them with my life. The front of the house, front office, folks who answer phones, check people in, are another story. They seem confrontational, adversarial, talk over you, speak in disrespectful tones and are very unprofessional. It’s quite astonishing really, and a huge contrast from what happens when one gets to the treatment rooms. While I realize these jobs can be stressful, it’s still no excuse to treat people in this fashion. This isn’t the case just once, I’ve been going here for years. I tolerate it, but don’t care for it.
