I have to say this is the best place I've been to and this is my first time .the staff is very helpful and friendly and everybody here is one big happy family we all get along and it's really nice so don't be afraid it's a good place to come if you need to help.

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE, from the counselors to the STAFF!! Even “Stanley” in admission knows it! He told me himself “HE WISH HE WAS IN CHARGE” cause this place is horrible. They claimed I was passing a “cellphone” to another patient but could not show me the video and deny showin me it when I asked. They threatened me with removing me from the facility, but I voluntarily left on my own. I will be opening and investigation with the NY Justice Center immediately after my departure DO NOT GET TREATMENT HERE!

DONT GET TREATMENT HERE‼️ AS OF 2022 The patients who come for TREATMENT have to clean THEIR facility, they are LOW on staff, counselor are irritated with you depending on if they like you or not , housekeeping staff is low also, You have to Mop, sweep, AND clean bathrooms and showers replace toilet paper in stalls, DURING COVID a properly trained HOUSEKEEPER should be doin that not patients goin thru withdrawal and who are here for treatment, it’s a ALL women's facility and MALE staff goes into your bedrooms without you being present. THEY NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED!

I’m not sure if my review is helpful for what RC Ward is NOW in 2021. I’m finding myself here writing a review as my ex sister in-law is laying in a hospital on life support after overdosing only two weeks after being released from rehab. I give this place 4 stars because it saved my life. Not just the place but the counselor Miss Patty is my real life hero. She kept me on track, but more importantly she was there for me to lean on when things were feeling hopeless. If not for Miss Patty calling and speaking to my mom and explaining to her things she didn’t understand about my addiction, I probably wouldn’t have a mom today.between my mom, Miss Patty and my PO at the time wanting me to get the shot I wouldn’t be here typing this review right now. Because of RC WARD I will be celebrating 5 years clean and sober in April. I wish I had all of the answers for those who are still struggling. I wish I could pull everyone I know or came across that’s struggling with addiction, out of it. Thank you RC WARD For Saving My Life! The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is because one of the counselors and I can’t for the life of me remember her name. Something that started with an “A” like Agatha or Agnes. I don’t remember, but she was so rotten. She didn’t like to see people enjoying themselves. Almost like rehab is like prison or jail. She made it hard from people to succeed in their recovery. At any rate, I lucked out with Miss Patty. I highly recommend this facility if you’re struggling with addiction. Surely there will always be a “better choice” but this place saved my life and it’s enough to recommend to others.

If the patient has filled out the proper release forms then you may call their counselor to discuss that patient and their treatment plan/goals. I'm sure if there is a family emergency the counselor will place you directly in contact with the patient. Also, every patient and their specific treatment plan is unique and individualized. Other than that, there are scheduled telephone times for the patients to utilize to reach their loved ones. Hope that helped some!!

Help - how long is the stay And do they release them before they know where they are goi g to stay

The program was originally a 28-Day inpatient addiction treatment center. More recently the program has gone thru changes and I believe the average length of stay is now around 90 days. The counselors provide an aftercare plan for each patient. Nobody is discharged until a suitable aftercare plan is agreed upon based on the patient's individual needs/goals. Whether or not the patient follows thru with that aftercare plan is another story. Hope this has helped!!
