Weird Chronicles
Came here and ordered a 5pc tender. They served me fried dog scraps. The chicken was hard as ever. Literally the chicken wasn’t fresh at all. The chicken was cooked hours maybe even days prior and they just throw it in some grease to make it hot and serve it to the guest. This is crazy. Don’t get me started on the pop rock a** popcorn shrimp. It was 80% batter and 20% shrimp. Close this place down man. 25 for this ????

Are you kidding me?! Do not buy anything from this place! Look at the “shrimp” they gave me! Should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves

I hope the district managers see the reviews because every single time without fail that I come to this location they do not have shrimp my guess is employees stealing it!

The Popeyes located at 267 E. 147th ST has "really improved" as far as their fried chicken and professionalism from 2-3yrs ago, being when I "stopped" patronizing with them (all of them.). Their chicken was continually "refried," being dry and crusty hard. At the time we ordered "every" Saturday. Then, my last order, the "cooking oil" was so thick or burnt that it stuck in my throat, I kept coughing and drinking something hot to dissolve the oi, it seemed stuck, I feared I would have to go to the hospital because of the effect it jad on my throat and breathing. I made it thru the night, returned the remainder of the order the next day. That was 2-3yrs ago. I recently decided to chance purchasing their food, chicken, again. I was imaged at the change. Attitude at the time was also despicable. Ignoring questions or complaints, rolling eyes, and speaking to customers as if "impatient or intolerance." Today that has changed, only thing is, they perform as if they all have hearing problems.
