We have visited this restaurant many times as locals. Whether you are looking for a place to enjoy a family get together or a lunch date, you’ll find their food and atmosphere perfectly satisfying. It is comforting to know that the meals are prepared with consistency, and you won’t have to guess if it will be just a good the next time. I’ve never had a bad experience (lack of proper food preparation, taste, etc) or a meal that wasn’t as expected. The service is pretty great too! When you’re done, walk on over to the country store to get yourself a delicious pie or other homemade treat. Your kids will love the mini carts they can push on their own as you stroll through to check out other items (produce, pantry goods, kitchen and garden trinkets, and more).

We had a party of 7 hungry folks. We were provided a nice private dining room with plenty of space & great natural lighting. Our meals were well prepared & delicious. Dustin, our waiter, was exceptionally patient, attentive, thorough & professional.

Eckerts is experiential. Having the opportunity to see, touch, smell, and taste seasonal products from the orchard is delightful! The pumpkin muffins and rolls make Autumn special. The crisp apples are juicy goodness. It's a family friendly place with many ideal spots for photos and memory-making.

They're good-quality plastic bags now.
They do. Yes. I have seen it and asked them about it and they told me they never claimed to not use them.
Yes the apples are ripe. You pick them right off of the trees. They have the apples labeled in front of the trees so you know exactly which apples you are picking. They also have the pumpkins patch as well. They supply you bags for the apples and carts if you need them for the pumpkins.
Yes, they take credit/debt cards in all locations.
Review the website for the General Store and you should find your answers, but be old-fashioned, call them and request a special order. That way it really has an importance to you.
I don't know about picking them, but there are beautiful pots of mums for sale outside the Garden Center.
I did not see that name on the list when we were there. You can call them, they will tell you. I do know they're at the end of the season for apples. Fuji is ending and Granny Smith is still coming in.
They have dine in since last Friday
The hours are 8 to 5. They request you to be back by 6:00 pm from the 5:00 maze tour.
Yes strawberry are being picked. You can pick yourself or buy them already picked.
Now
Yes
Peaches in after this weekend. Yes Gravois store is open.
Fun Farm admission is $13 per person. Children under 2 get in free. The hayride is included with that, and it's $6 extra for additional rides.
Yes, you can. They also have a store, restaurant, and different concessions like ice cream and beverages. We brought our own lunch and water bottles for a picnic. Then we ate dinner later that afternoon.
Normally it's crowded however the waits are never longer than 30 minutes.
As of this morning they were not allowing picking of the Jonagold. It was just red delicious, gold delicious, and Jonathan. However, you may have been able to find jonagold inside the store, I didn't look!
Never
I'm not sure. I have never been to the picking fields.
Usually they are only available in the fall. This year they extended it through Christmas. So you just missed them untill next fall.
Umm give me s example
Didn't see that in my visit. Just saw Illinois apples
You do need to go online and make the reservations. Then you can show your phone. They are touchless at moment. So CC only
Good Morning sorry 😔 I am not sure. But I know you can call them or go on to there website to see.☺
Not sure contact them or go to the website.. Sorry
Thank you for your message, but unfortunately that location is close for the 2020 season. We hope to open back up at the end of June in 2021.
Not that I know of the do have them for sale in the he store
When we went only the grocery store was open and outside dining. So yes, people did have their pets with them. But I dont know when they are regularly open.
There aren't any membership programs, but there's a lovely diner and a fabulous shop.
Yes
Yes! Their website has a seasonal calendar that let's you know when produce (and other plants) are in season.
Yes.
Yup..those were on pretty good sale last weekend...
First thing, check their crop update to make sure timing is right. Once you are there, they will take care of your transport. Their tractors offers rides frequently. https://www.eckerts.com/crop-updates-and-seasonal-farming
I don't think they grow tomatoes. Our tree-ripened peaches are now available for purchase in our Country Store. The cost of peaches vary depending on the size of peach and size of container they come in. We will be picking Eggplant, Patty Pan Squash, Onions, Kale, Pablano Peppers, Banana Peppers, Green Peppers, and Jalapeno Peppers, Yellow Squash and Zucchini. The cost of pick your own veggies is $10/half peck, $15/peck and $20/half bushel when available. https://www.eckerts.com/crop-updates-and-seasonal-farming?gclid=CjwKCAjwgqbpBRAREiwAF046JTPuTTdFVyQGoCxw1TW8dDLluKOUK1tWgiueZgnYcxvcMSqb15gGhRoCUYUQAvD_BwE
There is no dedicated RV parking, I believe. But do call them or contact them online, they should able to help you, unless there is any legal restrictions. At a minimum, you should be able to find a spot within few miles. Please post another question here if you don't get the information you want.
No. You will have to bring a wheelchair... However, there's so much to enjoy at Eckert's it will be well worth the extra effort... Please visit and enjoy!!😃
8 to 8 year round
The Sunflower Maze will Reopen in the Summer of 2019 Our Sunflower Maze uses the same concept as a corn maze, but with sunflowers instead. That means you can get up close, personal and even tickled by gigantic flowers that can’t help but make most people smile. A field access pass will be required to enter our picking areas. The all-day field access pass will allow you to enjoy fruit samples, unlimited rides to the picking areas, fresh farm air and lasting memories. Field access is $2/person. We do offer discount days. Monday* field access is free, Tuesday-Thursday field access is half price, just $1/person. On Labor Day + Columbus Day, field access will be $2/person. As always, children under 2 are free. https://www.eckerts.com/sunflower-maze
Yes! We will have it available this summer again.
They have a great web site, check it out. You can order most anything.
I recently went with my family (2 wks ago). We got in for free and rode the tractor for free. We had to pay for the pellets but there was no admission price. They do have kid friendly amusement rides that you have to buy tickets to ride.
Yes, it's $2 per person. Children under 3 are free. Though they have free days on Mon (holidays excluded) and $1 days Tue-Thu.
They open at 8am
My guess is there is a greater need there
The Sunflower Maze is closed for the 2018 season. https://www.eckerts.com/sunflower-maze/
I did not see any provided by Eckerts. Just one disabled man in a chair with family.
I think the most of them are.
They had so many plants there. I would be shocked if they didn't have those.
Pick your own strawberries and live music. 25 may will be Kenny Stinson G Perfect Tym'N (bluegrass) and 26 May Corb Lund (country/folk) should be awesome! Bring a lawn chair and enjoy! 🎶🎵
At the Grafton Winery and Brewhaus. And I think they sell in Schnucks grocery stores. I would suggest calling the winery to ask.
6.99 per child 12.99 per adult its on their website.
Its probably best to call them directly.
No
They don't list weddings or receptions specifically but do host a variety of other functions like showers and similar events i would suggest calling them directly.
They may have that on their website.
The website doesn't mention that so I would take Terry's advice and call them.
If you go to their website and look at the farm you want to go to, then look at crop updates, it will tell you everything you can pick.
99 cents a pound
