Very rude customer service on the phone. Mail important documents they either lose it or not receive it..can't drop off documents either...

My experiences have all been positive. The only problem was online it said you could go in without an appt. When I got there that wasn't the case however after about 45 min. wait they squeezed me in. With Covid restrictions I've had one phone appt. Everyone I've dealt with was very nice, helpful and knowledgeable.

I waited less than 60 seconds. I will always go to a small town office. They were quick efficient and very professional.

Don't you get SNAP or what used to be called food stamps, at the Mexico NY office for NYS Social Services ?
How do you get a new card?
Yes but only 18500
You have to call and they will assist you
Same
I don't think you have a limit on how many you get
I believe that you go to the Social Security Administration building with her birth Certificates and they may ask for your I.D. too. There's a $10 fee for the new card but, it might be more now.
I believe if you don't get married it should not change but please ask the SocialSecurity office
You can receive full benefits at full retirement age and reduced benefits as early as are 60. See www.ssa.gov/planners/survivors/ifyou.html
You need to go where you got your marriage license and bring both social security card to show that they made an error so it can be corrected. Good luck!
I believe it is 10 years
