The team did a wonderful job installing large televisions in our new home. They really took the time to understand what we wanted, were thorough in making sure it all looked great and came up with some creative solutions for getting the mounts how we needed them. Highly recommend!

Tony did an amazing job installing my home theater system. I purchased several items from him and he incorporated some items that I already had. The sound system is absolutely AMAZING and EXCEEDED my expectations. Everyone is blown away with the quality of this install.

Home automation products can help pay for themselves by saving you money. Gone are the days where you forgot to turn-off lights or turn down the thermostat after you left the house. Home automation allows you to set up routines that execute these actions automatically after everyone leaves the house for the day. While these cost savings may be small from month-to-month, over time they start to add up and can lead to big savings over time. Kinkade Home Theater has the skillsets to automate the things that are important to you all while not being obtrusive to your daily life/schedule.
Home automation allows a homeowner to utilize technology to automatically perform certain tasks around their home. This can range from having your lights come on automatically at dusk, to telling Google goodnight and all the lights in your house turn-off, the alarm is armed, the front door locks, and your ceiling fan turns on.
At its simplest, a "smart home" is a home that utilizes technology to enhance how a homeowner interacts with their space. This can be as simple as installing a smart thermostat to turn down the Air Conditioner after you leave the house. A true, smart home is a well thought-out and designed combination of technologies that work together and cohesively to truly bring a homeowners house alive. If you have numerous smart products, but none of them communicate together, then not much has been gained. At Kinkade Home Theater, we have the knowledge and experience to design and install a true smart home where everything works seamlessly together to bring your home alive.
Top 3 devices would be: thermostat, lighting devices, and remote controls. Smart thermostats allow you to control your house temperature from anywhere. That can be from your sofa or at the office before you head home from work. Having the ability to pre-cool or heat the home before you arrive is a really nice feature. Smart lighting allows you to control one or multiple lights together to create scenes. This can include having some lights on or off, and others dimmed to a level of your choice. You can also automate the lights to come on or off at certain times of the day, while adjusting for daylight saving. For example, you can have your exterior lights come on 45 minutes before sunset. Smart Remotes allow you to control all of your home theater devices simultaneously with the click of one button. Not only that, it sets them to the correct input, can dim the lights, adjust the thermostat, and help create the perfect movie watching environment with a simple click.
Home automation does increase home value. Not only does it create energy savings by automatically adjusting your thermostat and turning off your lights, but it also greatly adds a convenience factor. After a long day when you get into bed, being able to turn off all the lights with the push of a single button on your phone is just so satisfying. Having that ability is an attractive selling point to potential home buyers.
Depending on the level of involvement (Universal Remotes, Smart Lighting, Home Networks) an average project takes around 12 to 16 hours. This will include installing all the pre-wire and cabling, installing speakers, TV's, projectors and screens, setting up and configuring the system, and educating you on how to use everything with confidence.
We are fully insured.
Cabling can have big impacts on sight and sound if not done correctly. Not only do the types of cabling make a difference, but how they're installed within your space makes a difference. We have the knowledge and experience to know what type of cabling to run and how to run it so you have a smooth operating system without unnecessary cable interference issues.
There isn't a perfect size for a home theater but typically the more space the better. A bigger room allows for a larger soundstage for speakers to be spread across the room. It also allows for projectors that need a throw distance long enough to produce an image. However, we know that not everyone has unlimited space for a home theater. We have the knowledge and experience to help design around what space you do have available, both big and small.
There isn't a one-size fits all speaker. Each customer and their space will have unique requirements and we are here to help guide you through the process. We will help you determine the best speakers that fit your wants and needs.
The short answer, yes. Sunlight and ambient overhead light can cause washout or glaring of an image on TV's and projector screens. However, that doesn't mean you can't have a home theater or media room if your room has ample amounts of light. We have solutions that will help minimize the impacts of lighting so you can enjoy your equipment both day and night.
With home theaters, the sky's the limit in terms of cost. However, that doesn't mean you have to spend a fortune to have a system that will sound great in your space. We are great at design and recommending equipment across all budgets and will help you.
With constantly changing technologies and room dynamics variables, designing a home theater can be challenging. We have the knowledge and experience to help clients design and install a home theater that will be suited for their space.
This answer can vary depending on how this is accomplished and how many rooms are included in the whole home audio system. A basic system can cost around $2,000 - $3,000 and an extensive system can cost upwards of $10,000.
