Very Rude. Needed to get a marriage name change on ss card and wasn't sure I had all the required info to do so. Only time I could get to office was after work while kids were at sitters. I wasn't going to wait 2 hours if they were going to turn me away for not enough info provided. They refused to list the requirements for me before I sat doen to wait. They treat you like criminals. Officer very rude.

So I called chillicothe Ohio social security office on accident thinking it was chillicothe mo but anyways ont the phone with the Ohio office I asked about getting a new card because I lost mine and asked also about if I could get a paper saying that I have one ordered and to prove that the number is my social security number. They said they could give me a paper saying that so I gave them my number and they seen I was from Missouri and they told me to call the one in my state. Which I apologized for calling the wrong place. So I called the chillicothe mo office and I said the same thing and they told me they couldn't. Which was wrong because the kirksville mo social security office is willing to do that for me. So I wouldn't be going to the chillicothe mo one if you're in the same situation!

They make in person appointments, and when you come in for the appointment, they tell you that your appointment was never made. You call them, stay on hold for 15 minutes, but no one ever answers, even though they picked up the phone. If I could give a -5 stars, I would!

Set up appt. By phone they were very patient and so nice , set up an appt and was so very courteous. I thank them very much.
