Great beer selection and good food too!!

It's always been expensive. I've been okay with that until the point where other things become lacking. I asked for food and was told today something along the lines of "There's not much to eat today." After being told that, I had to wait close to ten minutes to get the attention of the bartender a second time to ask him to elaborate. In the past, there was plenty. Entire meals to choose from. Today, there were tots, one other appetizer, and bierocks, which were being sold as $14 per bierock (which is a meat-stuffed bread roll like you'd find at Kolache Factory). As a customer, I am never going to have it in my mind to think "I'd like to go to this particular venue but "Oh wait! I'd better check first to see if they've decided to not have a menu with actual meals this time around because I'd feel awfully embarrassed to show up as a customer with an expectation of having a meal!"" No physical menu made available to me. I even asked for one and was told to scan the UPC on one of the tables. There was not one on the bar (where I was seated). I have wanted to not carry my phone on me for quite some time now, but an act like that would inconvenience the workers at Bier Station. I had one 16 oz beer. A blood orange hefeweizen that was almost $10. My phone that I didn't want to depend on needed a charge, so I went out to my vehicle to grab my charger cord. The outlets under the bar did not work. The bartender mentioned a recent power outage, but did not know why they didn't work and didn't care to remedy the issue either. This place is full of itself, the beers are expensive, and they've either stopped offering actual full-fledged meals, or they've decided to choose when they will make them available. I'm done with it. Any of us can easily get a variety of quality beer elsewhere, complimented with an actual meal and employees who at least pretend that yours and my presence is appreciated. You all have lost your way, and I have a feeling that this review will serve zero purpose other than maybe causing you to double down on pomposity. Good riddance. From a former regular named Joel.

Sat. 9/3/22 We've been looking forward to trying the Bier Station, wasn't happy with the app only ordering, software could use a few tweaks, confusing layout, several people at our table found themselves double ordering by accident, also was a disconnect between the app and the food service, after ordering food and waiting a long time we asked about it and was told they were out of our selections, (this was at 5 o'clock), servers were all nice, beer selection is great, tried to let the manager know about the app problems for future fixes but was told there was no manager on site, seemed odd.

Been here many times. The staff is awesome and friendly. Beer selections are numerous. Nice ambience. The fact that they have a social conscience and are actively working to make the world a better place is delicious icing on the cake!
