I elected to have the MiraDry procedure at eSSe to treat my hyperhidrosis condition with my underarms. While the procedure was uncomfortable (the worst being approximately eighteen local anesthetic injections to numb the nerve endings), I was optimistic for long-term results. After three months following the treatment, I have found an unnoticeable change in my sweating, only the loss of underarm hair, prolonged tenderness, swelling and bumps. I would not recommend this procedure. eSSe does not guarantee results and has told me that if I want to attempt it a second time, I would have to pay the full cost ($1,900) again. I am very disappointed. I have no desire to try this again and caution others.
