I unfortunately did not get to see dr. Levy today but his PA.. I had an appointment today for what I already figured was a torn rotator cuff. After diagnostic procedures and X-rays to determine the next steps , it was an MRI to see how bad it was. I am a lineman, I cant lift my left arm due to pain. When I requested that forms be filled out so I can give to my employer for job accommodations( light duty no physical work), the PA said she wasn't going to do it flat out until MRI(scheduled 7 days later), without looking at my job description or my paperwork(it was a circle yes or no if I can do my job with physical condition). I was handed a piece of paper that said no lifting more than 20lbs...(literally could have been written on the forms I printed out from HR) that doesn't cut it for HR at the largest telecommunications company in the US...According to the PA I can work just have to deal with the pain... no thanks onto an office that will care....
