Dr Kaplan has been an enormous help to me in every way. All doctors should have his compassion. He is a bit slow to the draw when important things like Pain are involved. What's that joke about doctors? Oh yeah, they're Jokes!

I have been a patient of Midland Medical since 2018. Dr. Sarah Long is my personal provider. The Midland Medical Team is AMAZING. The entire team is committed to providing excellent service. The providers also have coordinators to assist with medications such as PRep. The only reason I am updating my review is the amount of additional administrative fees. Over the years they have started charging an additional $15-20 for injections, labs and other services.

The doctors are absolute rubbish at this place or maybe it is their administrative staff. I called three weeks in advance to get a refill for a medication because I knew that I would run out of the medication before I got to see the doctor. I called twice, then when I went to get my labs done I addressed the same issue with the lady at the reception and she told me that I should have my refill by the next day...that was last week. This morning I called, and I got Alexia with the nastiest attitude...the phone was having feedback issues and asked her to adjust whatever device she was using and her response was "well, I have been using this phone all morning and I haven't had that issue." When I asked her what was up with my refill, and explained all of the times that I had called for the refill, she told me basically that all she could do is e-mail the doctor again, and that she wouldn't put me through the doctor's medical assistant because the medical assistant probably wouldn't check her voice mails. So here I am four days away from running out of my medication and two weeks from my appointment and neither doctors, nor their staff are accountable. Doctors complain about getting sued, but sometimes they deserve it...law suits start at the business end of their practices. I won't even get into what happened last year with lab results and appointments.

Midland is freaking awesome.. My favorite is Dr. Kaplan.. He keeps me in check..
I've been with the Midland family for over a decade. While like all human beings, mistakes can be made.. There's no more dedicated group of individuals to rely on for getting your medical needs met in the area! They don't cancel appointments without notice and if there is an emergency in the office which makes a provider unavailable, someone in the Midland family would step in to make certain those with appointments were seen! There are no "specialists" at Midland so if you don't understand why you would need to select a primary care provider, you might want check your benefits/insurance company. They require Primary Care Providers for continuity of care and patient management. Insurance companies don't allow "doctor shopping" and physicians, who take their role in healthcare seriously, don't prescribe medications to patients who aren't assigned to them by their network. If you're displeased with Midland, As a long term patient, I wish you luck! You'll not find better providers
