We drove more than 1 hour to go this farm, I called in the morning to confirm about sunflower field, for which the answer was that they have sunflower field. After reaching we found out they don’t have much sunflower, you can see on the pic, only 3 rows of sunflowers. So we decided to make our drive worth and do the u pick vegetables. We picked many veggies and eggplants, after picking the small eggplants we saw the sign of $2 per eggplant, we decided not to waste the produce and kept it in our bag. We missed the sign of u pick vegetables rates, which was posted at the farm entrance, because we came for sunflower field, not to pick vegetables. We were charged $2 per eggplant at the checkout for the tiniest one too. I requested them and told them honestly about my miss understanding, I even spoke to the farm manager, he was rude and said I have to pay what I picked. I get it that I missed reading the sign, but I am requesting for a discount, rather then throwing and wasting the produce in the field, as many people have done, you could see the produce being wasted in the fields. I had paid $38 for these 19 eggplants. Seriously!! I am sorry but I owe a business too, sometimes depending on the situation I had made exceptions, this kind of dealing is not at all appreciated. I would never recommend this farm to anyone, not worth my drive and time.

The Lavender festival was awesome! Donuts and cider is very good. Restaurant is open year round. Fun place for the family.

Blake’s Cider Mill is a fun place to visit. It is one of the few cider mills open all year long and is still producing Cider. If you have little kids, they have a fun kids area that you need tickets for. The gift shop is amazing, It has various products from the Orchard plus fresh cider. They looked like they had events all weekends during the summer. Food ranged on pricing. Some places were very good and others were overpriced.

Wow beautiful trees and the team that drove the tractors were awesome and very detailed to the location of each tree family and funny as well. We hand a great time and you have a lot to do and see! The cider was out of this world!

Yes they do!
Yes, and they're DELICIOUS. They have other baked goods too. There are yummy pies, turnovers, awesome cookies. Enjoy your trip!
HELLO I'm not sure i didn't eat any when i went Maybe you can call and ask i think they will be happy to assist you😇😇
Depends on the season and whether you pick you own or buy in the store. During picking season, the "You pick" apples are $1.49 per pound, with a $15 minimum per vehicle.
Saturdays and Sundays
$35 a couple, but thats just me.
Yes. I believe there is a small chrge though....like $5.
Of course!
Everything they have is delicious but I'm not sure I would call them.
My local Meijer and Kroger stores usually have multiple flavors in stock.
Hello The hay ride with Apple picking is $13 The hayride alone is $4
Yes they have a nice room for those affairs.
I don't know the cost for kids, but what is there for them depends on day. On weekends in the Fall, I know that have a large haunted house, train rides, hayrides, bouncy house, straw mountains, a tricycle race track, book reading one of the barns, zombie paintball, probably some other stuff I'm forgetting. They have quite a but of stuff for kids on the weekends.
Really depends on weather, nicer it is, the busier it is but on a weekday it shouldn't be that busy early in the day.
You can take all the pics you want, but keep in mind that the crowds are large & its probable they would interfere with your photo shoot. Also, most folks want to take photos back in the "U-pick" area, which is a $20 minimum fee just to go back there. I know earlier in the season during the "sunflower festival", Blake's did infact offer photo sessions. It was "bring your own photographer" tho. It's hard to accommodate photo sessions this time of year seeing it is a working farm.
I believe all the sunflowers are gone due to the "sunflower festival " they just had this past weekend. Matter fact I know there all gone. My wife works there and she told me. So pretty good source. If you go past Blake to the north and turn left onto romeo plank rd. And take that down a couple miles there is a place called " VANHOUTES. Not certain on the spelling. Pronounced (van-hoots). I drove past there yesterday(monday) and seen that they still had some sunflowers that people were picking. Try there.
I don't know call Blaks
Yes, they have a small petting zoo
I am not sure. You would need to contact Blake's.
When we were there the prices depended on size, I think up to around $100
They where out
For U pick you need to purchase bag 50c each
I went on Saturday, and it was every 5 minutes
There was a portable restroom trailer onsite when I was there on 9/22/20. I didn't have cause to use it, but my wife reported there was running water available to wash hands. I'm given to understand that the experience is similar to what one might have in a RV.
They post that mask required.
Go to blakes.com and check upcoming events. I saw a veteran day that is allowing leashed dogs in patio area.
Blake's has regular cider (nonalcoholic) as well as a tasting room cafe for their hard ciders.
Yes.
You have to call them
Dinner and drinks? Around $20 each
No, but once you smell the donuts and cider UR going to give in and buy all of the delicious yummy stuff they have 🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩
I would try there site or call or go there and then you could see what they have.
Tickets
Boy howdy it sure is
Yes at blakes Big Apple on North Avenue starting Friday September 20th
Yes, we are still picking cherries for a few more weeks!
Cherries will be available in about 3 weeks. They will be available for picking in july
They will be ready approx June 20th
I'm not sure about there's but my strawberries aren't ready yet still just blossoms
Not for a few weeks yet. Follow on Facebook for all active crops when they become ready!
You're asking people from the general public that have been to Blake's in the past, not the company... I only know that they sell it. They may ship it since they ship so many other things.
Some areas are always open other parts are already closed like the apple orchard.
I kniw the tasting room is ooen all year
Parking is free, theres a fee for the kids to play is $12.95 even for the parents to get in the area to stand and watch there the kids play. The train or hayride is $4 and person I believe
