I guess the most important question a person can ask about a place in this brassiness is, "Would I want the person I love to stay there?" And in this case I would have to answer with a strong, resounding, NO!!! This is the last place my mother stayed before she was transported emergency by ambulance to NKC where she passed away 1 day later. Initially we felt lucky to get her admitted there. It was close to us, very nice, clean, and modern. But then the nursing staff would grumble to us that they had no help and couldn't take care of their patient load. Mom's bedding would be wet when we visited. And then some things went missing (new clothing and her credit card). After about 1 week, Mom called and said she was very sick and they wouldn't do anything for her. I arrived and went in to find her in distress. When a nurse finally came in, I asked about Mom's vitals, which the nurse didn't know. I asked her to check them, knowing her respirations were rapid and her pulse was weak and thready, and her capillary refill was delayed. I told the nurse I wanted Mom transported to the ER, but the nurse refused to call for EMS because the doctor had not given her permission to do so. I called 9-1-1. Mom was transported emergency to NKC, and passed 1 day later. So would I want my wife, my family, or myself to reside there? HELL NO, NOT FOR 1 SECOND

During my recent stay at Tiffany Springs Rehab, the rehabilitation staff went above and beyond to make sure I left with the skills necessary to get me to the next stage of healing.

Very frustrated with the care that is given in this facility. Dementia patient who need lots of prompting get left in her room to their own devices.recently after having a shower by a hospice aide, not an employee, she was left in the clothes from 10:00 in the morning until 2:00 in the next afternoon. Nobody changed her brief for more than 24 hours. When family got there at 2:30 she was still in bed and the brief had to weigh at least 15 lb. Her bed was soaked. She was soaked. Family cleaned her up. Stayed with her for a while and then after they left no one else came in to see her. She put herself to bed without a brief on, so I'm sure she'll wake up soaked again in the morning. Staff is either short staffed or too lazy to do their job well. Tried to call to give staff a heads up. No one ever answers the phone ..Would not recommend.

My mother was brought here after she broke her hip. I was naturally worried sick but her recovery went well thanks to all the rehab folks like Michael and the nurses like Kyla and Randi! My mom felt like she was saying by to friends which put me at ease. Hope never to be in such unfortunate circumstances again but if we do, we already know where we’re headed! Thanks guy!!

Hey James! The phone number for our senior living community is (816) 621-3800.

My name is Idamae Mccleery I am interested in coming for rehab from total knee replacement. My question is have the recent poor evaluations been improved, more qualified staff hired, nurses capable of managing meds

I do not recommend this facility. I have been here since Thursday and I am considering leaving. While the staff tries, it is very obvious that there are problems.

Do you have an emergency action plan or similar written plan?
