Yes, they would have to rent it out for large, private rentals because they did for the showing of the films entered in the contest and the awards ceremony for "The Louisville Children's Film Festival." I'm not sure of the pricing since my son was a contestant and 2nd place winner so I didn't have to pay for anything.

I believe rentals have been done, in the past. Please, phone Baxter - in the afternoon, M-F. The pandemic may have closed that option, or, there may be a limit to how many may gather.

To the best of my knowledge, Baxter Ave.theatre will let you rent out an entire room (theatre) for around $100 for 20 people. Great during pandemic...share a movie with your friends & buy concessions too.

They do not allow backpacks or large bags, but I have carried in a small plastic Dollar General bag consisting of a 6 inch Subway sandwich, bag of chips, 2 sodas, and a pair of earbuds.
