Walking into Hiway 111 Certified Farmer’s Market you are greeted by The Biscotti Lady’s captivating smile and samples of lemon drop cookies, pistachio biscotti, and Britton Ma Buoni. Joyful live music fills the air while your eyes are treated to vendors displaying honey, mushrooms, ice cream, and a cornucopia of vibrant vegetables. At Chaupain Bakery you can try samples of the smoothest and creamiest sheep’s milk yogurt. Bergamot, the vendor, mentions that his food is rooted in “happiness and health”. Chaupain also serves up delicious pastries and baguettes. This farmer’s market is worth the drive from any corner of the Coachella valley!

Poor quality produce for high prices.

These are all the same vendors in Palm Desert, La Quinta, Indian Wells. There is no locality to each city, it’s unfortunate that the organizer isn’t open to differentiating the vendor’s nor supporting more small businesses during this time. Also after you go one week you don’t need to go again. We went to all of the locations for one month and there was hardly any variety in the products.

Skip this Wednesday market, small and not enough organic vendors. Saturday in Palm Springs the produce is fresher. For an even better market experience with more vendors and lower prices try the market in Joshua Tree Saturdays 8am - 1pm it is worth the drive and the National Park is very close by and is open for hiking.

Wasn’t closed, moved. They are off 111 and El Paseo across from the mall.

Is this pet friendly?

No, we only allow ADA-trained service animals, in order to protect our customers who depend on them to shop. Thanks for asking!
