Lake was at winter pool so it was low on water. Took the hiking trail around the lake and enjoyed it. Trails were well groomed and I'd give them a medium difficulty rating. Lake allows fishing, and kayaking or canoeing. I don't believe gas motors are allowed on boats. Dont know about electric. Beautiful.

Nice spot on the top, not many know about this, good spot to stop and sit down and think about what is on your mind. Been up here a lot, no one is ever up here. Bring a chair, lots of ants. Update - very overgrown sadly.

Beautiful place to just go sit and collect your thoughts. Wish there were more trails.

Great views. Quiet place to have a picnic. Easy boat ramp to get in the water. Plenty of paths around the lake to walk around.

No there isnt any campsites there at all! Hope this helps.
A lot of space to bank fish on the dam side of the lake. There are also several clearings from the trail around the lakes to the bank.
No they do not have boat rentals . They have a place where you can back your car down this hill and bring your own boats and such . This place looks manmade like it might of been a quarry at some point . They have one outhouse bathroom . I wouldn't bring smaller children here lots of potential to get hurt. It's ok to go I caught a lot of blue hill and the tiniest bass ever
It's a long hike, but there are benches to sit on and take a break so it's not all or nothing. You do need to dedicate your day to it and take your time and take it all in.
You have to have a fishing license where ever you go, except private land. If you have a young child you are teaching to fish, that shouldn't be a problem.
