Love this hotel! It feels like home. Hotel employees are super helpful and caring. They do their best to make your stay memorable & comfortable. We stayed in the Grey Fox room which was roomy and super clean. The most important thing for me was that mattress and pillows were comfortable. And of course, breakfast in the basket was so unique and romantic.

The Inn is a hidden gem in Shasta Lake. I do not know how previous guests have posted anything but a 5 star rating. Honestly this place deserves a 6 star rating because these people turn it up to 11. The owner was courteous, kind and patient with us. The room we stayed in was called The Gray Squirrel. It was a second floor room with beautiful views of the mountains and a garden. It was the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. I could not find a speck of dust anywhere. The jacuzzi tub with the fire place made our stay so luxurious and relaxing. The shower is every home owners dream to have. The bed was so comfortable, I haven’t slept that good in a long time. Breakfast was delivered to our room in an adorable wicker basket. I couldn’t change a thing to make the stay any better. Best experience I’ve ever had staying in a hotel. You will not be disappointed. The rooms are beautiful and the people who work here are amazing.

One of the best places we’ve stayed on our 70-day tour of the states. Quaint, quiet, extremely clean. Real Bed and Breakfast with a lodge-like feel. Incredible service—welcomed into our room personally by our host, even with a last-minute, late-night booking. Thank you for such a wonderful time!

We were so comfortable. One of the cleanest places we have ever stayed. The bed was amazing. It was very rainy when we arrived; but we had all of the detailed instructions sent ahead of time for our late check in. They were very accommodating for my 9 year old son based on our room type and situation. I especially appreciated the gas fireplace, umbrella, slippers, plenty of towels with clean hot shower and of course delicious breakfast delivered to our door in a basket. The only suggestion I would have is a lamp in the living space would have been nice but not absolutely necessary.

Very little risk for us right now (knock on wood.) We are getting smoke and ash from the fire, but it would have to jump across the lake to get to our location. Really can't see that there will be any issues a month from now.
We do not have a pool. Some of our deluxe rooms have jetted tubs. We're about 1/2 mile from the Sacramento arm of the lake, 1.5 miles from the McArthur arm. Holiday Harbor marina is 1.5 miles away, Shasta Marina about 2 miles, and Bridge Bay Marina about 6 miles. If you look at a map of the whole lake, it looks like a giant hand -- and we are just about in the center of that hand.
