The store itself is nice. The checker/clerk was busy on his phone and talking to another employee about a co-worker having a baby ..the big reveal was a little later that day. Also, the checker/clerk/cashier wore his pants at the hip, with underwear exposed. Not what I want to see in a grocery store. (Or anywhere for that matter). Not very professional or business like. Tacky. He never greeted me as a customer..

Half of the employees love their job and have excellent customer service. Then, the other half must hate people altogether because they're not willing to be helpful, nor nice to people. People are so much more willing to give out hate than kindness; wish they had a collective training for that. I'm sure management doesn't know the extent of how far their employees will go to make a good day or a bad day for someone. Very interesting anyways.

This Safeway is much better than the one on the west side if Olympia. Much more organized and less foot traffic. A lot of very friendly and helpful staff as well here.

Real clean! Workers were real nice and helpful. The layout is different than the one in my neighborhood. Everything is labeled and well marked. When there were more than three people in line they opened another (that is unheard of). If I lived in the area, this would be my store!
