Worst gas station experience in my 45 years of life. If I could do negative stars I would. When you are on a road trip you want to stop and get gas and drinks and quickly be on your way. The cashier did not want to help me get the deal that was posted on the front door. They did not know how the app worked and didn’t care about helping me figure it out. 15 minutes later and not even getting the deal that’s advertised on the door I had four people yelling at me on the way out for taking my cups out with ice and not paying for it. I said I brought my cups, i filled my car up completely with gas, i spent$9 on drinks. I can’t put the drinks i night on ice in my own cups??? The response from a random person in the store, “it’s your cup but it’s still ‘OUR’ ice.“ they made me get back in line and charged me 99 cents for each of my cups I filled with THEIR ice. BY THE WAY, their fountain drinks were on a deal for.79 or something like that. The monster deal was 3 for $6 and if you buy one more you get it for $1. That should be 4 monsters for $7. My total was almost $9. No one cared. I went back to get my cups I filled with ice then the attack started from seemingly random people, maybe friends off store owners? They were all chatting with each other. Not a deal if you have to pay for ice at 99 c per cup. I did not see any sign letting me know they charged for ice. I’ve never been charged for use in my own cup ever, let alone charged more than what it costs for a drink. Not sure if this mistreatment was an issue of Discrimination/Racism or not, but it might be interesting to note that my skin color was not the same as everyone that was ganging up on me in the store. Might also be interesting to note that this is my first negative review. I’m most motivated to leave positive reviews spreading the word of kind treatment and excellent experiences. Hoping others will frequent places of positivity and good will.
