This place is SUPER cute. Really gives off modern Harry Potter cafe vibes Out of 5 Cleanliness 4 Service 5 Food 5 Atmosphere 5 Price 5 I went in just to get a chai latte (delicious btw, would get again) and instead my friend and I ended up staying to also get their Turkey blt. I’m not sure what bread they use but it is the MOST sourdough bread I’ve ever had… and I LOVE sourdough. I got to talk to the barista, super sweet, and the owner too! Also extremely kind and kinda gives off a “Im a teddy bear but don’t get too close until I know you” kinda vibe. But I’m general a really fun atmosphere and good vibes all around. I love this place, will def come back. Only bad thing is no free parking if you plan on staying long term. But totally worth a stop!

I came to this coffee shop since I was in Riverside and It was a really nice/relaxing coffee shop. I ordered a Iced Chai Tea with oatmilk and it was DELICIOUS... I would try this place again...

Great local coffee shop! We were very impressed with the layout and artsy/library feel! Plays jazz music to make it even more comfortable!! We will definitely make Back to the Grind a must see/go-to for us!

Great vibe! We were visiting Riverside and wanted a spot to stop for a bite to eat. Back to the Grind was perfect. All kinds of options for food and drinks. Comfortable seating. Just a wonderful place.

This place is quiet and has alot of interesting art and features to talk about. Definitely a good place to take someone.

Darin does rent out the downstairs, you would have to call them and talk to ether Darin (owner) or Tilline (manager) for a quote. They also have various local artists that have their work on display on the main floor, but they typically have them up for a month or until sold. They are also participate in Riversides art walk, which is the 1st Thursday of every month.
Monday nights are from 9 to 11 with an 8:30pm sign up. Admission is $3. Its available for music, spoken word and comedy. We also have a musician's open mic on Tuesday's from 7 to 9, with a 6:30pm sign up and admission for that is free.
Monday nights you mean? Read your own poems or sing.....Tue night is also open Mic....yet that is only singing. I don't know what else they mean by "spoken word" other than Open Mic on Monday/Tue nights. I also have not been there on a .Monday night since Early Oct 2018. I'm way busy studying accounting & building a business.
Marvelous! The proprietor is always masked, people respect distancing, and no indoor seating for now. Gotta admit, I'm super excited to spend more time there post-vaccine!
