This place may have began with a genuine purpose but from my experience (2015) it’s another “big box” money mill. This business loves those with decent insurance- urine tests daily for example even though patients are living under a controlled setting. I also had to sleep a night in a separate “detox” entity even though I explained I hadn’t used for a few days prior to flying. More insurance bilking. I had personal possessions stolen from me (phone charger, werthers candy) from the “specialized RN” on duty that night. Classes consist of nothing more than a generic approach toward addiction education with the environment of a high school classroom- distractions from young adults sent there by parents. I’m clean now but not because of this place, because of my choice to be as well as a different (smaller)facility.

Poor telephone operator for Delphi. My 3rd time calling. I ask for pathways to hopes direct line. Found out my old administration lady was gone. When the 1st person's phone transfer dropped...I called back, but with a kidney stone in tow I wrote the # down wrong. The third time I called that operator wouldn't give me the direct phone #s, had NO REASSOURCeFUL info for the salvation army or other homeless shelters sonI could relocate to Florida. Then, use my medicare n medcaid to get into a state founded facility...

I went here 5 years ago and I owe them a lot of thanks for saving my life. I’ve been clean for 4 years now. Most of the staff do a great job, and a lot of them will go out of their way to help you if you’re having a tough time. I met my fiancé there, (I know no rehab romances lol) and spent the best 4 years of my life with him after completing ocean breeze. Unfortunately, the love of my life passed away last year from the monster we call addiction. We spent almost all of those 4 years sober, but my fiancé felt depressed and relapsed. I did not see it coming, he was always so much stronger than me. At least there’s no more pain for him, and is reunited with his dad now. Sorry for the rant, but I wanted to post this because of how much ocean breeze has done for me and others. Before, I didn’t have the tools to cope with reality. I’m also incredibly grateful I met my fiancé, Garrett there and was able to spend the happiest years of my life because of the help they gave to us both.

An eye-opening experience that made me understand to let go but not let go of myself while helping my husband recover from his addiction
