I applied for SS benefits about a year ago. I did the initial interview and was told someone would be in touch. I know it takes a while to receive some type of response, however, I have not heard back from anyone yet. I have tried calling the office and has had no success with getting through. So I called Tallahassee. I spoke with a representative that told me, none of the information I gave never was submitted, no information was even noted in the system, she didn't see anything for my daughter. She pointed back to the local office and told me to call them and find out what happened to the paperwork and why there was nothing in the system about my case. I do not want to take a day off to spend in the office when this is simple information I can receive via phone.

Excellent place, good treatment and above all they serve you very well. I went today, if you want to do the social, go confident, it's the Cola, and it walks super fast, inside they are not even 5 minutes but if they ask for the originals to see it, good luck and blessings

I arrived several hours before the office opened. Even though the office has been “open” for a while now, the line hasn’t moved a bit. People are getting in and out of the line, there’s absolutely no structure, neither have we received a ticket to keep our place in the line. Edit: all the people working in this office from the security guards to the ones behind the windows were nice.

You can make one over the phone or go early morning. They only see ppl till 12 noon....
You can call or go. The lines may be long but they don't usually take to long. They are there till 12 noon so you do need to be there early to be seen....
