No. They're usually on from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Memorial Day is May 27 this year.
I live across the street from.saunders it is separate from the park you have to contact park and recreation for information. There are events happening but I have only been on the out side park area
Hi Delia, City of Bakersfield Recreation & Parks' spray parks opened on Sat., May 29 from 1-6 p.m. They will be open Tue - Sun through Labor Day (Sept. 6). The spray parks will be unavailable on Mondays (except for holidays) in an effort to conserve water.
I don't know but I sure hope they're using reclaimed water and not just letting water go down the drain. The water parks was supposed to be a water saving option for the pools they covered up. Yet it was discovered last year that they use much more than a pool does. Many children in Bakersfield including myself learned how to swim in those pools.
