This company is by far the most toxic environment I’ve worked in in my entire life. I asked the foreman for 3 minutes of his time to talk, that was 3 weeks ago he never called me. The group leaders talk to you anyway they want and then wonder why I’m not happy. Talk to people with respect! Some maintenance guys come and give you attitude and talk nasty to you when you have a problem with a machine cuz they want to not be called and sit around. One maintenance guy flirts with the young girls and was reported and nothing happened. He also has a crush on this younger girl and he always shows up at what ever machine she is working at, like a lost puppy and everyone is fully aware. The high turn over rate is like nothing I’ve seen from one company. They play favorites all the time and bend the rules as long as it’s convenient for them. They get temps from Wilkes barre area because no local people want to work. Not a place for career minded people like me and seems like no one has integrity? This company is only for people who need a job temporarily.

Good Work Environment

I was on the fence about the company during the applying process,I received a call almost immediately after I applied and returned the called the day after leaving a message on the woman’s personal line because she was not in that Friday.Monday came and I did not receive a call back but was informed that possibly someone within the office had a family member pass.I left another message that Wednesday. This was strike 1 for me. Heard nothing but a week later received a call passive-aggressively that it’s the “second attempt” at contacting me.That call became strike 2;I was going to wash my hands of the place but decided I’d give it a shot after some thought.I thought this would be a great place to work the benefits sounded great and they seemed to truly care about employees with promise of several weeks of training.I only worked 3 days and decided to resign.I was hired for Packing. My 1st day I was only with someone for about 3 1/2 hours, wasn’t too bad I got the hang but not enough to learn how to properly figure out the time sheets or to fill the labels..etc.I wanted to show them I was able to adapt. My fellow co-workers from orientation were with trainers the full shift. We did a “safety walkthrough” which seemed very poor and rushed.I think the company should take the specific time to dedicate time in new employees schedules to fully go over the machines they’ll come into contact with and the processes, just doing a 10 minute you need to do this and that on the machines isn’t safe and could be costly for the company.Needless to say ill thought out on managements’ part to expect new(and overwhelmed) employees to remember being shown once in a loud environment. And almost seems like they were trying to skirt around training...My 2nd day I came in to find out I was by myself but I was doing the same thing as the previous day,I was fine.Wondered when I’d receive training.Messed up here and there.I don’t think the operator realized I was legit new that I didn’t understand some of what he was asking/saying.He was awesome and helped me the three days I was there as much as he could.I give him props and hope he truly knows I appreciated it;I hope the company holds onto him because he is insanely valuable. My 3rd day was the strike 3 and what decided my leaving.I came onto shift still with no trainer but NEW product that I NEVER handled.1st did not set me up for a good entrance because he was overwhelmed, admitting he’s only been trained on the product once before. Not his fault but the management.I had no idea what to do but noticed the 2 people from orientation are still with trainers just like the previous 2 days.I wing it with the quick directions 1st shift gives me.The product was overwhelming because the process was different(and new).I stacked the product on the pallet wrong, it was supposed to be 5 boxes by 5 boxes but I thought it was like the previous day and did it 6x6 and was not facing labels the correct direction out because I did not know.So that had to be redone.I felt like the staff(management)that was passing by couldn’t fathom why I had no clue what I was doing.I even told the one gentleman this was only my 3rd day working and that I had no trainer. My 1st day I only received little training.I continued to increasingly mess up and fall behind.None of the uppers jumped in to help me from drowning, felt like they were setting me up to fail instead of succeeding. The operator once again had to keep me afloat; poor guy.I have no clue if the company was trying to get around training or if there was some miscommunication where they completely missed that I was NEW WITH NO PREVIOUS FACTORY TRAINING.Most of the co-workers(not managers/uppers)around me did try to give me tips and tricks but there were a few that stood by and watched me fail.I finished out the shift and resigned. The company is very flawed and if this is what most employees experience,it’s my guess as to why the turnaround rate is so high.Packers are responsible for too much, I think people are needed for the belts to assist in between 1 to 2 machines.Too much!

Questions & Answers

I would like a real number to call of someone who hires people in this place. I'm calling and no one answers. Besides, I'm looking on the website that they are closed all week, so who do I contact if I want to work in that place?

I would recommend going through nesco resources or Aerotek to get there that's how I did it

How do I get an application to work there

As the other two have said just show up and ask for an application at the front office before 5pm. If for some reason you can't be there before 5 you can try calling and either I or someone else in leadership could probably run one out to you. 570-433-3319
