The manager

Not only is the Mammoth Lakes Vons the most expensive Vons in California, but it is the most poorly managed. Terrible bakery, produce fair, shelfs empty ( yes we know there is a pandemic) .

Maybe it's the time of day that's the issue here, but the crew that works overnight/opening could be a bit friendlier. They are not very approachable, and always seem to have an air of being unconvinced about them when you ask them to ring you up. The usual wait time for a cashier at 5am is somewhere between 10 and 15 minutes, if they bother to acknowledge you at all.

Well stocked store, but some cashiers are consistently rude and impatient. I'm saying that as someone who worked in grocery retail for a long time, and knows the frustrations of the job. This is not how things are done. If you hate your position so much, it's a big world of opportunity out there.

Cooking is fun! Vons had all the food items we needed for veggies and meat and the lines moved quickly. Enjoying a homecooked burrito bowl after snowboarding 😀
