Delicious dinner, friendly people, and wonderful COVID-safe garden setup. As others have said, the clam chowder is spectacular. We really enjoyed our evening here!

We were pleasently surprised with our experience at Little River Inn Restaurant. After deciding to just eat where we were staying we were not sure what to expect. Our meals were delicious and the creme brulee dessert was out of this world. I even ordered one the following night delivered to my room. I had the Petrole Sole which came served on rice with asparagus. The fish was light, flaky, and had a tasty sauce.

Little River Inn offers a nice menu for dinner with something for everyone. The large outdoor seating area is nicely heated with the table decently spaced apart. I do wish they had better chairs. We ordered the chopped salad to start off with and it was delicious with the Penny Royal cheese, and other fresh ingredients nicely tossed in a flavorful vinaigrette. For our main course we some how both landed on the chicken which was a generous portion and quite fulfilling. The chicken itself was on the salty side, but fine. Earlier that day we coincidentally met the chef while wine tasting in the Anderson Valley, he was very nice and at the conclusion of our meal we were surprised with a complementary desert (a berry cobbler), which was yum. If you're going to have a mixed drink here, the coastal mirage was very well made. Our server was nice and I appreciated her candid feedback with the wine selection, I enjoyed the McNab cab.

Excellent service from entire staff. Wife and I had booked for Wild Fish but location was dim and closed, so we went across the street and I asked the hostess about Wild Fish. She explained it had been closed for business (although shows open for business online) but would be able to accommodate us, even without a reservation. We chose to sit in the garden area, which blew us away. Tables nicely spaced in context of COVID with great ambient lighting. Food was great, we had grilled chicken which was cooked perfectly and was flavorful. On the way out not one employee we encountered failed to happily tell us to enjoy the rest of the night, you can tell either their hiring or training, maybe both, are top notch. All in all, what a pleasant surprise and we appreciate the last minute accommodation.
