Having been to many parks in South Florida this one stands out in terms of diversity of natural beauty and it’s not boring to explore even if you’re not a nature geek. Most comparable parks are like 1/3 the size of this one so it may actually be the best park in South Florida.

Beautiful park, but lots of alligators, there is no sing at all alerting you, specially if you are with little kids in a canoe.

Had a great hike. It is also an awesome place to ride a bike. Saw several very healthy deer, including this beautiful buck with velvet still on it's antlers. We stared at each other for at least five minutes.

Hi, Jeannine. There are no pickleball courts located at Loxahatchee River Battlefield Park. You can find the parks that do have pickleball courts at https://discover.pbcgov.org/parks/Amenities/Pickleball.aspx. Sincerely, Melanie, Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation.
Hi Beatriz, For the safety of all animals, including wildlife, dogs are not permitted inside Loxahatchee River Battlefield Park or Riverbend Park. For more information about which county-operated parks you can take your pup, visit this link: https://discover.pbcgov.org/parks/General/Dogs.aspx. Bibi Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation
Hi, Juan. You can find water sport rentals located in adjacent Riverbend Park at the Jupiter Outdoor Center. For more information, please visit https://www.jupiteroutdoorcenter.com/riverbend-park/. Sincerely, Melanie, Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation.
Hi Lorena, There is no admission fee to access Loxahatchee River Battlefield Park. However, if you'd like to rent a kayak/canoe or bicycle from Jupiter Outdoor Center in neighboring Riverbend Park, they do require a rental fee. More information can be found here: https://www.jupiteroutdoorcenter.com/riverbend-park/. Thank you, Bibi, Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department
No, pay to rent equipment, pavilions, etc. Hiking paths are free.
You will see rabbits throughout the park. If you're talking about bringing a pet rabbit, no pets are allowed in the park.
Mo nut there are canoe and kayak rental joints all over the place and many will deliver the boat to the park
