I toured your community yesterday looking for the right fit for my mother who is 86, with cognitive decline. I have to tell you though, I left appalled! When we toured the memory care area. We encountered a resident on the floor of the common tv area. It was clear she had fallen. Her shoes were in 2 different places and she was struggling to get up and was confused. The 1 aide, ca, whoever she was - was in the corner in a chair close to the door on her phone not paying attention to anyone. When Andrea ( the lady giving me the tour), my elder care liaison and myself saw her, Andrea immediately went to find help. When the aide realized what went on, she came over and Andrea said something to the effect of please help her. The response from that aide was short and nasty. could not believe it! Andrea played it off, and said something to the effect that the woman was in late stages etc... I don't see how that is relevant to the lack of care. So at this point game over for this community for me! I would never, ever be comfortable with that dismissive attitude and complete lack of care and concern. To think of my mother in that situation and someone treating her so poorly with absolutely no dignity and respect. Appalling! It has stuck with me since I left there yesterday. Not the impression I'm sure this community hoped to show. It wasn't that the resident fell, I understand things happen, it was the manner with which your staff responded. Also, I emailed this very review to the email listed on the website and it bounced back. So I imagine they don't want to hear a completely factual review!

Had the pleasure of providing staffing for Sonata Boca my interaction was with the Executive Director (MG) it was a pleasure speaking with him as we discussed ways we can make the life of our seniors better through quality care. I would highly recommend this facility . C.L (CEO)

Let me start this review off by first saying, "Thank God for Sonata Boca Raton!" I can't say enough of the management team and aides, but I will. When all seemed lost last year on caring for my 102 year old Dad, I knew my Dad needed professional care at a Assisted Living/Memory Care location. After touring Sonata Boca Raton, I looked no further for my dad's needs. Management has been incredible in helping to meet my needs. The care shown to me and Dad by Stefanie the Executive Director and Janet the Community Director gave me confidence that Sonata was the facility to relocate my Dad. They are always available to speak with you about any issues, prior to Dad moving in and continuing through his care for the last 8 months. The Wellness Directors, Cora and Jennifer, along with the Nursing Staff, are the most trustworthy people to manage your loved ones. Their recommendations for present are future care have saved me countless nights of not sleeping. The memory Care Director, Shelly Ann cared so much for me and my Dad when I had to move him into the Memory Care Unit that I trust her with my Dad's life. These 5 really professional ladies made my Dad's move into memory care as seamless as possible. I love them all. Finally, when it came to the financial aspects of my Dad's care, Cony Gonzales, the Business Director, was there for me. Cony gave me whatever time was needed to help set up the payment plan including all necessary instructions for automatic debit payments from a checking account. Cony is very punctual in mailing out statements and invoices and has help me tremendously with ANY documentation I need for tax and financial purposes. I also want to include the Dining Room Director, Sharon. There is not a time that I ask for certain foods to be provided to my Dad that she has not accommodated. My Dad gets 3 good meals a day. As an individual who has worked in the medical field for 20 years, I can assure you that THIS management team in Boca Raton is very cohesive in having established themselves as a caring team who takes responsibility regardless of who I speak with. If you love your loved one, look no further.

I appreciate very much the professional care that is being given to my sister Elaine by Sonata Boca Raton. I am particularly impressed by David Arana & team and his interest and care of the residents. He does an excellent job in a very difficult situation.
