Update 2: After 1 years, the pants have ripped on the back seam. At this point I can’t recommend this company at all. Terrible customer service and poor quality fabrics. Update: One suit arrived with a poorly constructed fly area of the pant. Black Lapel admitted it was a manufacturing defect. However, they were completely out of the fabric and could not produce a new set of pants. I was bummed because I loved the fabric, but the remedy offered was even more disappointing: a paltry 25% off a new suit or I could try to find a tailor to fix it for reimbursement. My 4th suit may have been my last. Best suits I’ve ever owned. I bought 3, and wear them daily. Every single day I get a compliment from someone on how good I look. These suits grab everyone’s attention. Can’t wait to get a few more.

Bottom line: Everything was just as advertised. Measurements were simple enough: they show you how to take four key measurements, and then they calculate the rest. Delivery time was about three weeks. On arrival, the jacket sleeves were just a bit too long (guess I didn't fit their standard model), but they instantly refunded the $34 my tailor charged to shorten them. She also remarked on how well made the suit was, and she sure sees a lot of them. So overall, very happy customer. You can probably get a cheaper suit, but then...well, that's what you have: a cheap suit. You get what you pay for, and in the case of Black Lapel, that's very good value for the money.
