Kes the Band concert was everything!! A vibe for sure. Great location. Standing room event space for concerts. Seating is available for an extra charge. Street parking is limited. Parking lots are nearby.

Hey congratulations! You paid a bunch of money for a ticket to a show that you want to see. However the bouncer won't let you see the show unless you are chill with their agenda. Object? Banned. Free speech is not allowed. I would love this place if it allowed free expression.

Most uncomfortable seats on the planet! Show was good though

Cool venue with awesome personnel, I've been coming here over a decade. I wish they would be a little bit less tolerant of crowd-surfing. The first one, two, maybe three people who did it, alright, get your Jack Black out. But after like 2 hours, you need to realize, man, it isn't cute, I didn't come to lift these fatties all night. The 14/15 year old girls beside me were getting kicked in the head repeatedly from the same grown men crowd surfing. They need a one-and-done policy at the very least. Serious kudos to the security staff for carrying every crowd surfer, you went above and beyond your paygrade at Mom Jeans on Sept 12.

Yes there is, it's in between the two front entrances if I remember correctly
We parked at Park America Inc, this is located at 511 S Front St, Philadelphia, PA 19147 It's only about a 10 minute walk from TLA. Rate was extremely reasonable! ($10 only for Sunday thru Thursday evening rate if you are gone by 4:59am the next day)
The venue does have a bar, but usually they ask for ID at the door and stamp your hand if you're of age and intend to drink alcohol. You should be okay in that case.
I went in by myself and was fine. Purely your preference.
Nothing listed on the website that says 21+.
They do have seats there downstairs and upstairs
Not sure. I didn't even realize they started doing shows again. Are the box office hours not listed on the website? If not call and that info should at least be on their digital answering machine no matter when you call.
I believe most of the place is wheelchair accessible but it's an old building probably not the easiest place to get around for anyone with special needs. I would contact the theater ahead of time
Darlene apparently hadn't had VIP. Up to what type of VIP you have. Typically same as the rest of the crowd. It is when you leave. The band's will come out after and make themselves available, some more than others. So, if you "spent money" on VIP which I dont know anyone who does (what a condescending answer she gave you) it's a regular show. I dont know if it still has the seats on the left but those used to be VIP only and the bar was comped. Hope that helps.
The seats are on the second level . The entire first floor is standing room only. I was pretty drunk so I think there is hostess service. But I might be wrong. Park in a parking garage if you drive. I would suggest taking the train to Jefferson station and it's a 15 minute walk from there.
Balcony seating only.
I've found street parking before, but it can be inconsistent. Philly has parking garages all over the place tho!

I dont know you would have to go on there website and see .
Just park in the parking lot behind the TLA and save yourself the headache.
No no age limit on the show but you do need Id to drink.
Call the theater
I would wear sneakers and definitely dress like it is hot, once the venue gets packed you start to sweat.
If you're driving stay in essington. It's cheaper and only 15 minutes away
If you call the recording states hours. And their website has hours too.
March 26 1993 jack bruce band
There is not a lost and found
Parking required being early as well
Depends on who is playing
They didnt have enough room for coats while i was there-- get there early to guarantee
There's a very little amount of boutique hotels right on South Street or near it or near it. The Hilton or Hyatt is perpendicular to South Street basically but it's down on the water and that's pricey. And then all the major hotels with huge brands are in the center of the city about 10 blocks away
There is a really close parking garage, use Google maps to find
They do usually have stands in the back for merch, and full bars.
Yea
Who are you describing as "kids" - 5-9 or like 12-15? I would say in general, no, but if said kid is already acquainted with "concert life", sure, depending on the event. I would not take a child here just to solve the no babysitter problem 😉
There is no actual seating per say....but there is A bar area & they will absolutely make sure you are safe & comfortable when it comes to handicapped accommodations {They bent over backwards to take care of ALL of my handicap needs & then some!!} If possible call the TLA ahead of time let them know what Ur needs are so they can have erything set up ready waiting for Ur arrival W/O any hiccups!! {P.s. it's the law under the Americans W/ disabilities act!!} The staff members @ the TLA R pretty good about this kinda stuff!! Enjoy your show!!
