I stopped in America's Pastime today and would like to update my review that I left a few years back. After reading some reviews that people have left on this site about this store I want potential customers to know that this is a five star store with an excellent selection of sports cards. The owner is very friendly goes out of his way for me and customers I see him helping in his store. I would highly recommend this store to everyone that is looking to buy or sell sports cards.

Owner is not friendly and not respectful. Plus the overpriced products. Asked me to leave the store after 5 minutes saying this was not a "hangout spot." I was alone in the store. I will not be returning.

Sold me a fake Derek jeter gold hologram rookie for 1200 dollars I sent it away to psa to get it verified they told me it was a fake. Called him up says I’m out of luck nothing he will do. He is a scammer don’t buy from him or his ebay store. He is a conman. Who likes to take advantage of his customers. Especially don’t pay him cash ever .

Vintage cards are in horrible shape and insanely over priced

We buy all vintage sportscards cards from the 50 s and 60 s
I’m buying some of the better, tougher rookies from the 80 s and 90 s. Would have to see them.
Hi thanks for checking in. This is not something that we carry. Call my friend Pete who is a dealer as well. 862-703-9298. Mention Rich from America's Pastime in Fair Lawn sent you over. Regards, Rich
In modern cards, we only buy big-name rookie cards
I don't think so, but best to call.
Depending on the manufacturer, year and condition. Same with the unopened packs
Only sealed pack boxes. Thanks, Rich
