Update: I re-signed my lease. My rent increase after 14 months was $77 (not horrible at all given the current climate so I'm very grateful). However, they did increase the cost of admin fees, trash, pest control, etc. so it's coming out to around $110 total increase. Still overpriced in the grand scheme of things but my particular unit gives me piece of mind and moving is a pain anyways. I moved into Morea in June 2021. Pros: -brand new apartment building -I feel safe living here -spacious floor plan -washer & dryer in-unit -dog friendly -I received 1/2 off rent for 4 months -it's a quiet, normal community (no parties on weekdays) Cons: -I thankfully have quiet neighbors both above me and to the side, but the walls are paper thin. I can hear every time the dog upstairs runs after it's ball and music/talking from other apartments just when I walk by (and it's at a relatively normal volume.) -unprofessional staff communications. They could benefit from hiring someone with a marketing/copywriting background to communicate with residents via email. -low amount of guest parking spots in the garage. -cheaply made apartments. They look good now but give it like 3 years and it'll be on the decline. The flooring in my unit has multiple boards that are raised just from the weight of my couch and bed. There are a lot of young professionals and families that live here. That being said, with the thin walls I'm happy I don't live near a large family unit. Overall, I really enjoy living here. Every place has it's cons but this complex is a solid choice.

I am not a tenant, I was a potential tenant. I applied for an apartment and got approved TWO MONTHS before my move-in day. A WEEK before I was supposed to move in I got a call saying that they “as a company” decided to let the current tenant stay in the unit, even after I already signed my lease. There were no other units available like the one I applied for and they couldn’t do anything to help me as if it was my fault. I was told the manager will get back to me but I started to not hear from them for days so at that point I called it quits. I had to go up there in person to figure out what was going on. I moved from out of state so imagine how stressful that felt. I also incurred expenses leading up to that day that I should of gotten reimbursed for. It was disappointing.

The apartment is quite but you can’t deal with hearing your neighbor using the bathroom above plus not so professional staff with poor communication then this will not be the place for you!!!

Really? People are upset because their guests can't park "behind the gate" where the residents park? So let me understand, people who pay rent should have to search for parking so your friends who don't pay rent can park here whenever they want as long as they want? Not to mention the other reason for gated parking is safety and security. Yes limited guest parking but everyone saw that when they moved in, you have that with a lot of buildings built in city locations. The fee for parking isn't expensive and the reason is before they did that you had people parking there 24/7 taking up guests spots even people from the car dealership across the street. It's actually easier to have guests over now. New owners actually care about security and safety of the building.
