Nice park but there is no dog park. We let our dogs out of the rv off leash and put them on leash on the front steps. (RatTerrior and Aussie) not very intimidating. We got a phone call that night from staff reminding us about the leash laws. All things aside this is a really nice place to stay and the sites are big but there needs to be a dog park. Oh yeah. The pool closes at 6:00 pm but not sure why.

We stopped by here for a few days before heading to Wilmington. This is a very nice, safe and relaxing campground. I don't know who the owner was from reading past reviews, but the super nice guy that checked us in was great. I made a mistake on the site we booked and he very kindly moved us to the site I originally wanted. We never felt anyone was watching us or uncomfortable during our stay. The sites are very spacious and clean with concrete pads and a fire pit... Super dog friendly. The only thing we would have liked to have was the pool, but it looked like they were working on it. We will return the next time we are in the area.

Turning onto the dirt road leading the the entrance you can't help but notice this campground is unlike the others I've been to. Fresh flowers great you are the gate the .there are fresh flowers and well maintained grounds through our the site . I have never seen such a well maintained and safe campsite . The natural beauty speaks for itself .the staff are quick to great you with a smile and get you into your stay with no hassles . Fire pits are at all sites and the power and sewage were placed in the perfect spot .I didn't even have to use all my sewage hoses .and the sewage port was ground level .which until know i didn't know was a welcomed change from all the other campsites that have them raised which makes for more work . Everything you need is taken care of here ,at times before you even realized it was needed . We had a great time and are figuring out a way to stay here longer then we planned

My in-laws booked this campground coming back from FL as a one night stay in their journey back home. They left FL super early Saturday morning and were booked to stay here Saturday night. Unfortunately, they hit a ton of unexpected traffic and would be arriving an hour and half late to the site. My mother in-law went to call the campground when the receptionist called her asking where they were! She went to explain that they were in massive amounts of traffic and that they were just about to call when the receptionist cut her off and began being rude, unprofessional and unwelcoming. She told my MIL that it wasn’t her problem and she wasn’t staying late for them that they closed at 6. My MIL then asked if she could get a refund and the lady said NO refunds! DO NOT stay here! They are mean and uncouth and could care less about putting the customers first! Judging from other reviews this place really needs to work on their customer service. There’s plenty of other beautiful campsites in the area that seem polite and welcoming. Don’t waste your time here!
