We went to Beak and Skiff for a Primus concert. The venue is Great! There is a stage at the bottom of a nice grassy slope backed by an apple orchard. Lots of room for chairs and blankets, and ample, convenient, free parking. The food is limited to Beak and Skiff offerings, so we were glad we had grabbed an early dinner before arriving. Note that there is No Tailgating allowed.

Much more than we expected from a cider mill. This place is set up to be a Destination. Very large and well kept, with great views of the valley which it overlooks. …

On a nice day you have crowds it can take a while to get in the parking area. You have limited choices of apples to picking. The stores and distillery are fun to visit. A flight of hard cider is $6.00 and a good choice if you want to try the different flavors.
