Amazing place! Within a couple days of submitting my application I was contacted by Cora. She walked me and boyfriend through the whole process. At our appointment at the shelter she introduced us to all the available rabbits, suggesting …

I’ve adopted four rabbits from ESRREC starting the adoption of my fist 2 rabbits in 2015. My first 2 rabbits were strays that were reported to, and captured, by ESRREC. After seeing the work ESRREC does, the community outreach, medical care and advocacy for domestic rabbits I became a volunteer. Last year I adopted 2 additional rabbits that were each owner surrenders. Every rabbit taken in by ESRREC is vet checked by an experienced, rabbit savvy vet. Any medical conditions or needs are treated by the vet and all medical services including medications are paid for by ESRREC.

Try feeding him more hay and things to chew on to grind them down. Everything is expensive with bunnies I too failed to realize this. They want 1000 for neutering my two male bunnies. I could go to get cheaper with dog or cat.
They neuter their rabbits only I think
I don't know where you are located but the rescue uses Chadwell Animal Hospital in Abingdon MD and for this would be around $250.
Hello Carrie, I recommend Chadwell Animal Hospital in Abingdon, MD. The wellness exam is about $50 not including optional bloodwork. The neuter surgery itself is around $150. They are very experienced with rabbit anesthesia. Once they are neutered they will probably calm down.
All rabbits adoptable from ESRREC are spayed/neutered. The adoption fee for a single rabbit is $50 and a bonded pair is $75. It’s not a “selling price” because the adopters first have to fill out an application. As mentioned, some vets charge quite a lot for the spay/neuter surgery but ESRREC gets donations to cover most of the costs.
No... but try the phone app called Rover
