Been here roughly a month. It doesn't take a company very long to show it's true colors, especially when there's so many different moving parts. So far, I think it's great. My favorite thing about Hill Bros. is the accountability. A manager from every department came in during orientation and said that Hill Bros. isn't perfect but everyone is doing their best and if you're patient and just talk to them, they will do everything they can to address your issues. Turns out THAT'S TRUE!!! This place is full of good, honest, laid back people who just want to do a good job. They, like most companies are concerned with profit BUT their concern for their people far outweighs the bottom line. They know that if they do not take care of their employees, company morale will plummet thus generating loss in all a companies dynamics--including revenue. They have been transparent from day one. Everyone, from dispatch to the mechanics to the safety department have been and continue to be reachable and helpful around the clock. My dispatcher told me that he would answer the same question five times just to ensure that I understood what I needed to. I am so thankful that I answered the recruiting call from Hill Bros. I think I finally found a home here. SPECIAL SHOUTOUT to Karen, who is like the companies directory. My dispatcher's Randy, Tina and Ryan...you guys are THE BEST! The maintenance shop that I end up calling at least twice a week. And all the staff (sorry I don't remember everyone's name yet) that have answered the never ending list of questions I have or at the very least have pointed me in the direction of someone who could. Thank you so much Hill Bros! I am thankful to be a part of such a great team!
