Never a problem renting a car from this company.

Returned my rental and accidentally left a gate opener to my neighborhood. I tried to contact the local branch and after dozens of attempts to contact via phone, no one answered. I then contacted customer service and the agent sent a text to the branch for someone to call me. I never received a call So I drive to the branch and told them I have been desperately trying to reach the branch. I was told we do t have phones yet because we just moved. What!!! I then asked about the alert sent by customer service, that was sent with in an hour of returning the vehicle. I was told that is when international flights are coming in and they do t have time to deal with alerts. No reason was given for not reading the alert after the international customers are processed. Remote control was not in lost and found at the desk. An employee was then sent to check the vehicle maintenance area. That was 10 minutes ago. So far no controller. I’d suggest forgoing renting from here until they realize to have any level of customer service phones are a necessity

Nice small place, we showed up with a order for a car to be returned at West Palm Beach international airport. On the national car rental website, where we made the booking it allowed us to do so when we got to the airport we were told that they don’t allow you to turn in the car at a different location, and it will be a $200-$300 fee. I did not receive any email or any other type of notification but it’s telling me this. Oh well. But the staff was really really nice and try’d to help as much as possible.

While there is no Emerald Isle here my experience was still excellent. When I approached the counter they took my name, checked my ID, and gave me a selection of cars to choose from. I picked the one I wanted, was handed the keys and paperwork, and walked right out to get the car. I doubt I was at the counter for over a minute. I've never had a check in experience go so quickly and smoothly. Even if all info was entered online most companies seem to make you go through all of it online, especially the fuel, insurance, and add-on sales pitches. Not here! The car was new with less than 5k miles. It was clean inside and out, with a couple extra sanitizing wipes inside for good measure. Returning the car was also very easy. I just parked it in a National spot, handed over the keys at the counter, told them the mileage (you'll want to note it before going inside) and that the fuel was full, and was off to security to catch my flight. Since Enterprise & Alamo are the same company and staffed by the same people at the same counter I would expect a similar experience with them at MLB. National just happened to be the best deal I was able to book.

They all have local number
None of them that I have ever rented across the country in 6 years using National. Update 2022 - still true.
