I went to the appointment that I had scheduled to get my dog fixed. When I arrived, there was an option to board overnight. The latest pick up time was 4pm (this was not mentioned over the phone) and I had to work until 7. They wouldn’t allow me to board because the next day is Sunday and they are closed. It wouldn’t have been an issue if someone had mentioned this on the phone before I drove an hour from home (Morehead is the closest banfield for me). Waste of my time and my gas for a “sorry”. I wouldn’t recommend banfield. Support a local veterinarian instead.

No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.
We have a Siberian Husky n a Pitbull who are both on the highest level of preventive care they offer n it's one of the best things we could ever have done for our babies! Really does save you money compared to what your bill would be without it! We love Banfield n wouldn't dream of ever going any where else!!

Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
