Amazing! I'm not from Joliet and am unlikely to have any reason to go back soon but I think I might make a trip just to revisit. I haven't had Mexican food that good and authentic since my childhood. The staff were fun, joyful, and welcoming. My husband was not with me but had my leftovers and wants to visit as soon as possible. The interior is typical dive -- a secret well kept. I'd give ten stars if I could.

I took my daughters here for an early dinner. I ordered pastor tacos, they ordered chicken and steak tacos. Wow, we all loved the flavors and textures of the meat and of the tortillas. The staff was really sweet and made us feel welcomed. I can't wait to go back soon. Thank you La Villa!
