I spent 8 years of my childhood in Sharpsburg. Today it isn’t the same place that I once lived. The police department is a ragtag group of Rocky Mount Police Department rejects, riding around harassing people for something to do. They are corrupt at every level of local government. The police are power hungry, and possibly trigger happy if the situation presents itself. My lawyer says the entire police department is garbage with no leadership, and no accountability. If pulled over by the Sharpsburg PD, it’s best to record them because I believe they can be dangerous. They are extremely unprofessional, and they will pull you outside of their jurisdiction.
