Need to update their website with what's on the lot. Drove hour and half paid to get in to find our neither of the cars were there.

If it was possible to give a zero thats what they would have gotten. There prices are ridiculous and only a dollar cheaper than new, I will never go back there because of this and very rude preppy guy.

They posted a 2010 Silverado 1500 going on the lot and listed no special terms. I drove an hour and a half to buy two seats out of it for $160 as listed on their website price list. As I took the first bolt off an employee, said he’s the sales manager or floor manager, runs up to me in a frantic asking me if I knew this was a special pricing vehicle.....? I told him I was not aware and was surprised as I’m just getting seats out of a cloth interior Chevy Silverado. He said to wait so he could get me pricing, so I waited, he came back with a new price of $400....??? I started packing up my tools and explained he had waisted my time and they should have listed that on the post they made. He watched me put my tools away and walked with me side by side to the office where you check out. He had some lip to say along the way, and as we walked into the building he instructed another employee that was already busy to search my tool bag, the same one he had just watched me pack. I denied the search and asked for the manager to do it, so the same kid came back that I had been dealing with. I asked for the manager, he said, “hi I’m the manager!” Trying to shake my hand. Then the actual GM walked by and we spoke about what had happened. Then the kid searched the bag and I was out. This kid has a lot of learning to do.

A lot of junkyards charge up to 75% less for the same part as this junkyard. Then they nickel and dime you for literally every single bolt. I can get a complete DOHC 4 cylinder engine including all brackets and accessories for no more than $130 out the door at other junkyards. You'd spend that much just on the cylinder head here. Update 1/29/2019 I only paid $60 out the door this past December for a complete LM7 (LS1 Based) engine block from a junkyard that I used to go to often. That's about only 1/3 of the price that Cape Fear Pick and Pull charges. A lot of the price at Cape Fear are what you would pay for the same part brand new. They tried to charge me $20 for a cigarette lighter out of an older model car! You can get them at the parts stores for cheaper than that. But if you're ok with paying these inflated prices then more power to you.
Yes
Or you can go out there and see what they have when you get a chance
Check the website, it has the inventory for all three of their junkyards.
No i don't
They paint mark the parts when you purchase and tell you if it can be returned within 30 days.
But they prolly do have one. And yes, they know if they have the part. Just call them. They are a good place to get parts.
Hell they charge you just to go look around so!
No one is going to be able to answer this question on here. You have to call them and find out
Parts no. Cars yes.
No
I did not see any but I only went to one section of the junkyard
Call them at 910-332-1824, or go to their website at www.carolinapicknpull.com and fill out a Sell Your Car form!
After the flooding after huricane they may give less
It's easy to navigate their salvage yard. Make sure you bring tools with you.
Best place to go Sunday is the place right across from Harbor Freight it's a locksmith there usually only like 15 to $20 there and I believe they programmed them to that would be throw Harbor Freight on Carolina Beach Road
They only buy Aluminum wheels. If they are aluminum but chrome plated they will buy them also. They do not buy tires. Only complete vehicles, aluminum wheels and batteries.
There is a guy there pull parts for you a small price
Yes. Even if you try to put it on and it's the wrong part or you don't need it they will do a full refund within 30 days WITH THE RECEIPT.
Yes. They sell decently used batteries also. One lasted me 2 years for $35-$40...
You can go to their website and type in what vehicle you're looking for and they'll tell you if they have it and what road is in
They are pretty vague on what they have as far as parts wise you actually would have to go up there and look.
Thermostat
Pick n pull will buy it.
you can check there website
Scrap prices are low so don't expect much for a broke down car. I also work at a salvage yard in eastern nc and cape fear has much better prices for most parts. My shop charges $150 for a lower intake manifold for a 4.3 Chevy motor , same intake at cape fear is $35.
This is Google Maps, you will have to call Cape Fear Pick And Pull . They sell motors for 300 plus core charge most of the time
Yes but you will have to call them for a price. They will likely just buy it for scrap to be melted down though.
Their website lists everything they have.
They would like to have a title or registration card to buy but you can right a bill of sale and they will except it unless there is some sort of reason they are sceptical of it do to the laws im sure you understand that.
Depends on if it driven in, towed in or a total hunk of junk, cars in good shape bring more, jims bout spot on, unless its a mercedes with a bunch of good parts on it, more money if you drive it in
They told me it will be right after Thanksgiving.
I've seen multiple tow companies being cars in, easiest thing to do is call them and ask.
The way you find out if they have the part you go to their website and look up inventory and that is how you will know if they have the Mazda RX-7
If you go online to cape fear pick n pull, they have a price list and inventory list if vehicle they have. Print the price list. They will try to scam you in a heartbeat. They did me alot and when i finally caught on. I started bringing the price list with me. The guy got in trouble but he still works there.
