A 5 out of 5. I say this for serval reasons: 1. It’s beautiful, it’s pretty. There are multiple places for people to congregate. It’s peaceful and has a lot of character and uniqueness to it. 2. The venue is highly photogenic. It has multiple areas for great picture backdrops. The pictures are stunning! 3. Kathi’s heart is in the venue. She stands behind her employees and looks out for them. She’s proud of the venue she runs and I admire that. 4. The owners of the venue dealt with last minute changes that my partner and I decided on. For example, we made last minute changes on the seating assignments, which meant content for chalkboards needed updated. We made last minute changes on the napkin color. They made every wish come true. 5. Kathi and Maglen dealt with an emotional/stressed family. They stuck with them, even after stressed out reactions from family members. 6. Kathi went above and beyond and ironed my partner’s tie because it was so creased minutes before first look. 7. Harrison was awesome as a bartender and made the alcoholic process beyond easy! He also made himself readily available for all random questions.

I attended a wedding here. There is a fire pit and a trail around the lake. Also a big field for kids to play in, and it has WiFi.

We had a great experience with Morris Peaceland as our venue. Kathi was very kind and accommodating. She truly loves the property and being a part of a couple's story. Her passion for it shows by making a beautiful venue special down to the last detail. We loved the laid back, romantic atmosphere. We received many compliments and were told that everyone had as much fun as we did. The pricing was the most reasonable we saw when we were starting our search, especially factoring in how much is included. Kathi is very proud of her collection of decor, china, and odds and ends. It was really nice to not have to worry about bringing a lot of these things ourselves. There were hook ups for the band's equipment, bridal and groomsmen suites, and cute, clean bathrooms. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!
