Been coming here now 23 years but several changes especially pricing has us upset! $175/night. That’s double what it was in 2014 and staying in Red when we used to always stay in Yellow. The wifi connection has always been bad here. Limit of 2 dogs, my daughter used to come with us with her two dogs and pay the fee which used to be $5 per dog per night. Now it’s $10 per dog per night. She now can’t come with us as that would be 3 dogs at our site. We were coming here 23 years and now need to find somewhere else to go to with this restriction - other campgrounds I go to do not charge this dog fee or limit to 2. People camp so their pets could travel with them. Gazebo on dune used to be open for drinks snacks and ice cream. Would be nice to see it open again. Other campgrounds we go to have concrete pads and we pay $70-$100 at those campgrounds. Not ?175!! Paid less at Key West! I remember when the owners increased the number of people at a site from 2 to 4 people to help make the camping here more affordable for families and I thought that was the nicest thing from him to do that. Unfortunately the past few years have brought major inflation to the cost of a campsite as well as pet fees raised from $5 to now $10 per dog - I won’t be able to have my daughter and her husband join us now. Why are things changing not for the better here? So upset

Location is outstanding. I gave a lower rating for two reasons. 1. Internet is shockingly bad. My wife and I need internet for work purposes when we go away. This put undue stress on us. The camp-sight is on the expensive side and should, in my opinion, provide a better internet experience - even if they charge an extra premium. 2. When we checked in they charged us for two dogs, even though we had no dogs. We called them about it and were told that we were not charged for the dogs. I double checked, and we were. It then took two trips to the front desk to get a refund. If you make a mistake just apologize, fix it and move on. Don’t inconvenience your customers. I left with a feeling that you are greedy.

Five stars for location but there are some detractors. First, signage to the resort is horrible. Our GPS took us right to the entrance but it was not evident until we searched around because the sing is nowhere near the entrance. Big rigs can’t just pull a u-turn! Then the signage inside the park as to the directions of the roads is non existent. If you want a one-way circle around the perimeter make it clear. Our site was level enough, wish it was paved. The dirty sand would be a nightmare in the rain. On the plus side, all staff were very friendly and very helpful. Bath houses were top notch. Can’t say enough about the beautiful beach steps from our site. The cost is in line with the spectacular location. I just hope the corporate ownership doesn’t drive away the great staff.

We had a great stay and will definitely be back! It was great to be able to see ocean from our campsite! Very convenient to stores and other things to do as well.

Probably on some but not all. Watch the weather though. Some tent sites are bad to flood. Awesome place though.
Hey Beverly! No we do not, however there is a gentleman in the campground that rents out his campers throughout the year. Would you like his information?
Hello! Yes we have 2 for sale. Please call the Resort Office at 252-354-2250 to get more information on our units for sale :)
Yes
Sorry we do not have rentals of any kind. Kandy
Not sure. Best thing to do would be to call the office and ask.
I believe 18 just call them
Good Morning Pamela, The new owners are going to keep Holiday Trav-L-Park Resort as is. Kandy
Amazing space. Most are pull through which makes parking any camper easy peasy
You have to bring your own but the rules say it has to be elevated off the ground so it doesn't burn the grass.
I'm assuming you are referring to permanent sites, at this time we do not have any lots or campers for sales.
No, we rent by the month. You can check our rates here: http://www.htpresort.com/monthly-rates/
Its already open
It was last week
Hey Sharon. Yes, you can make a reservation for just a day. The only time there are minimums are during Holiday Weekends.

The Holiday Trav-L- Park is a great camp ground. Very clean and well maintained. We love to stay there but it is a long walk to the beach.
Hello! No, we do not offer any kind of "work camp" at this time.
Yes! They are open for tent and RV camping from the middle of March until the beginning of December.
Yes, they have a nice area set up for tents.
Hello! You can view our rates at http://www.htpresort.com/nightly-rates/. For that time, the price will range between $55.00-$78.00 for tent camping :)
Hello Carol! We work with different golf cart companies in the area that deliver golf carts to your site and pick the up. It's an additional cost for both the golf cart and golf cart pass.
Hey Kathy. As of right now, we will be closed until further notice. We are trying our best to get back on our feet!
Hi Steve. As the others have said, we received quite a bit of rain and we were not in operable condition until the middle of October. We are closed down the remainder of 2018 and will reopen for overnight camping on March 16th, 2019.
Hey Brenda! As a rule, we have bands on Saturday nights from Memorial Day to Labor Day :) Head over to our website and look at the Activity Schedule: http://www.htpresort.com/activity-schedule/
Hey Vincent! There is no limit to the number of people on a campsite, however there is a limit to the number of cars which is 2. For each additional person over 4 there is a $5.00 per person, per night charge.
Hey Vincent. We only have a specific number of sites that are available for our 6-Month Lease and 9 Month Leases. As for our designated seasonal sites, they do leave their campers permanently on the site, but they have to be a park model unit - they cannot be a travel trailer, motorhome or 5th wheel.
Hi Hunter! For tent sites, you have space for parking (1) car - with full hookup sites you have room for (2). There is no extra charge for vehicles if you have more than you are allotted for your site, you will just have to park the extra vehicles in our overflow parking that is located a short walk down the road from the entrance to the resort.
They only make reservations on the phone. Nice people they are very accommodating.
Yes they are very nice and grassy. Some have shade trees and they are separate from the big campers

Hey Dennis! We do not handle the sale of campers throughout the resort. You can call the front office at 252-354-2250 and ask for the current campers that are for sale, but we always suggest looking through the Facebook marketplace or Craigslist first to get the most up-to-date listings for camper sales and go directly to the owner.
Yes we do! The cost depends on the month that you are storing with us. It ranges between $80.00 and $145.00 per month. You can visit the Storage Rates page on our website by copying and pasting this link in your web broswer: http://www.htpresort.com/storage-rates/
