While ultimately, my problem has been fixed by a wonderful technician, A&e service has got some serious issues. The first technician that was supposed to come out between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. called to let me know he was on his way, then called me again at 5:00 p.m. to say his truck was broke down. From what I'm hearing that particular technician's truck breaks down a lot. Because of this I have been without a washing machine for one month and 6 days. The gentleman that finally showed up this morning, early at that, was wonderful. He was courteous, friendly, respectful. I had the work done through American home shield and they are partially to blame for me not having a washing machine for so long. I have a 17-year-old son who plays sports and I work full time and my husband was out of town for a long time for work and going to the laundromat was not what I wanted to do on my days off. All in all I would rate Sears/ A&e services a 2 and 1/2 out of five. But I would rate the technician that came out a five out of five.

Said on the phone the price for the quote to fix the appliance was only chargeable if they fixed it. Appliance couldn't be fixed. Still tried to charge me for the quote. Tech just ended up canceling the call. I wasn't gonna pay 120$ for someone to tell me my appliance was broke, I knew that already.

You are better off going online n trying to find vs thru this place. They suck anymore. Still waiting for a $500 refund from almost 2 months now! Had to dispute w credit card company!
