We found this place by accident, and BOY it was a great place to find!! The mansion had a lot of history and our tour guide was a great story teller and was able to answer our questions very well, he even had met one of the granddaughters of the mansion himself! We learned a lot about the history of Marcus daly and the way he founded quite a bit of montana. It was a great stop and was only 15$ a person which was very reasonable for the whole tour. Not only that, but this is a site that relies on tours to help keep it in shape and to help restore its full beauty. I hope to vist another time and see it even more beautiful than it was this time.

Went to the Scottish Festival and got the chance to explore the Mansion. It was very big 25 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms. Antiques everywhere, Beautiful landscaping, and good beer and mead from the vendors.

We went to Celtics Fest and had a great time planning for it to be a yearly thing.

We has an historical visit into the past in this large mansion. We enjoyed the Scottish Festival on the weekend we were there.

Today we arrived for the 2 pm tour and were told the tours were this morning and there were none this afternoon. So DO CALL AHEAD. The availability seems to be reduced after Oct 1 and the reservations WERE required.
