We attended the fairy in the park event. The kids had a blast looking for fairy houses.

Interesting historical home with unusual features. Look for the secret tiny doors built into the wall under the main staircase. Fun story. We took a self-guided tour but overheard the tailend of a guided tour. Guided tour would add to the experience. Check out the Faerie Steps nearby (search GPS) and how they are associated with the Conrad family. Photos are allowed without flash. I don't want to give away all the surprises but will show where to find the secret doors.

They have adorable fairy houses set up on Thursdays. Such a beautiful setting for these houses. It was fun to see.

Best to talk to the property. There are a lot of steps in the home and I don't recall them having double railings. The tour with docent was 2.5 hrs without sitting once we left the entry.
Normally after Thanksgiving, but their website has all of their tours and Christmas Tea times on it.
